Terms & Conditions

At Flavors by Adunni, we create elevated Afro-fusion food experiences rooted in warmth, beauty, and thoughtful presentation. These terms help ensure a seamless event experience while protecting the care, inventory, and logistics required to execute each gathering at our highest standard.

Booking and Payment

Your event date is secured once the required 50% non-refundable retainer has been received. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date. Events booked within 7 days of service require full payment at the time of booking.

 

Dates are not held without payment, and all invoices must be paid in full before delivery, setup, or staff arrival.

Final Menu, Guest Count, and Dietary Requests

Final menu selections, guest count, service style, and any specific dietary requests or allergy accommodations must be submitted during booking and confirmed no later than 10 days before your event. Additions to the menu are possible up until 10 days prior. Reductions ar into possible once the reaitner has been paid., Changes requested after this window are subject to availability and may incur additional sourcing or labor fees. Once ingredient purchasing and prep have begun, reductions in guest count may not result in a reduced invoice total.

Delivery, Drop Off, and Setup

Delivery, meal drop-offs, and luxe event setup fees are based on the event location, setup complexity, staffing needs, and timing requirements. For larger meal drop-offs over $400, delivery can be coordinated at a flat mileage-based rate, which will be confirmed during invoicing. 

 

Clients are responsible for ensuring timely venue access, loading instructions, parking details, and a setup window that allows for smooth installation before guests arrive.

Setup, Grazing Tables and Rental Inventory

All catering set-ups, luxe grazing tables, styled stations, and events involving chaffing dishes, serving boards, risers, vessels, décor pieces, or floral styling will incur a refundable damage deposit starting at $150, depending on the size of the event, menu scope, and styling inventory required.

 

The deposit will be refunded within 72-hours of breakdown and inspection that all rental and styling items are returned in good condition.

Breakdown and Pickup Policy

For catering setups, luxe grazing tables, styled stations, and any event involving rental inventory, Flavors by Adunni will return for breakdown and pickup within 24 to 48 hours after setup.

The exact return window will be agreed upon in advance based on the event timeline, venue requirements, and distance from our service area.

If pickup and breakdown are requested within 4 hours of setup, an additional expedited pickup fee starting at $75 will apply.

 

This fee is waived when Flavors by Adunni staff are booked onsite for active service during the event.

Onsite Service

When onsite staff service is included, our team will manage replenishment, food station resets, guest-facing service, and breakdown of Flavors by Adunni inventory at the close of service. In these cases, separate expedited pickup fees do not apply, as breakdown is included within the staffing scope.

Food Safety and Client Responsibility

Once food has been delivered, dropped off, or fully set up, responsibility transfers to the client or venue. For the best quality and safety, hot food should be enjoyed within 2 hours and cold items should remain temperature-safe until service. We are not liable for food quality issues caused by venue delays, prolonged service windows, or improper storage after delivery.

Creative Styling Rights

Unless otherwise discussed in writing, Flavors by Adunni retains creative direction over food styling, vessel selection, grazing layout, garnish details, and overall presentation flow. This ensures each event reflects our signature elevated Afro-fusion aesthetic.

Photography and Marketing

We may photograph food setups, grazing tables, styled displays, and branded event details for use across our website, social media, newsletters, and future promotional materials. If your event is private, please let us know in writing before the event date.

Force Majeure

Flavors by Adunni is not liable for delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, power outages, accidents, venue closures, road closures, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations made 14 or more days before the client may transfer the retainer once to a new date within 60 days, subject to availability.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the retainer. Same-day cancellations are non-refundable.
